With a background in branding and design, owner Cara McAuley founded Anchor Events after more than a decade of experience planning large- and small-scale events in both the private and corporate sectors.

Cara enjoys getting to know her couples and translating their story into a seamlessly styled event. She has a passion for the special touches that set your event apart; while her eye for detail ensures that no detail is overlooked.  

 

A South Shore native, Cara attended college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she studied media arts & design and hospitality. She now resides in Marshfield with her husband, Brendan, their two young children, Cooper and Lily, and labradoodle, Scupper.
